Thursday, 17 November 2011, 4000 Omega Men descended on the campus of Howard University to celebrate the Centennial of Omega Psi Phi. That evening Crampton Auditorium was filled with Ques from all over the country to pay homage to our four Founders and to rededicate their lives to Omega Psi Phi and its Principles.
My Corridor Representative, who was in attendance at this momentous event, described it a "magical" occasion. After the Rededication Ceremony, in which Grand Basileus Dr. Andrew Ray with passion and erudition conducted the ritualistic aspect from memory, the Brothers processed out to the Founder's Monument in silence, led by a verger carrying the Omega Psi Phi ceremonial mace, followed by Brothers from Alpha Chapter. Then the throng, gathered around the Founder's Monument, sang our Fraternity Hymn, Omega Dear.
