When is some TOO MUCH?
When your man acknowledges another woman, does it bother you? To you, when does it become excessive?

Well, what do you mean by acknowledge? Look at her? Heck, he can look all he want, don't touch her. He cannot, however, GAWK at her while I'm with him. can't control what he does when he's alone. But I know I'm not about to stop lookin at all the fine menses, and I can't expect more of him than I expect from myself. And that kills me to say, I want to let yall know, lol.
If you mean acknowledge her VERBALLY, I don't know about all that. What they got to talk about? Not a dang thang. Wanna talk, talk to me, buddy, lol.

Ok, I'm feeling you Ideal08...he can look (hell, so do I! )...but they do NOT need to indulge in conversation. So OA, yes it would bother me if everytime I'm out with my guy he started chatting it up with other women. Who are these women? What are they talking about? If he's greek and they are his sorors, then that's a different thing....but if that's not the case and he's hollarin' at some chicks EVERYTIME we're out...oh hell no ...that would be excessive and he'd get the boot.

No it would not bother me if my man indulged in conversation with women. Please......if I can't trust him to just talk to a woman then we need not be together. I don't mind him looking, I'll be worried if he didn't.

No convo.........
Have you guys seen the Mitsubishi commercial in which the woman is driving and the man asks a woman on the street for directions to a museum and the woman on the street proceeds to ask about his interest in museums with the girlfriend sitting in the car. So she politely rolls the window up.
Point: You got to draw the line somewhere especially if it seems as if the other woman is feeling your man. And why draw the point later on in the game, nip it in the bud-meaning no talking in the first place.

I couldn't agree more... I'm all for nippin' in the bud any behavior that I think is inappropriate. And it doesn't have a thing to do with lack of trust. I'm simply helping me trust you more!

It all depends on the situation.
If my man and I are at a party, I fully expect him to talk to other people (men and women) because that is just being cordial and socializing. I, for one, am totally against having my man as an ornament at public affairs. Just because we go somewhere together does not mean that I expect him to hang on my arm all night long. He is free to move about the room and entertain himself. Of course, he should not ignore me and immerse himself totally in conversation with beautiful women all night.
Now, if every time that he encountered another woman, he began having an in depth conversation, then I would be annoyed.
I don't have a problem with my man speaking and acknowledging other women as long as it is in the right setting. There is a time and place for everything. If he doesn't know better, than he is not bright enough to be with me.
As far as looking at other women, he is more than welcome to LOOK at whomever he wants. Lord knows, when I see a fine man walking towards me, he'll get the once over (maybe even two or three times depending on how fine he is ) regardless of who's next to me. I am discrete enough that I can look at a man without the whole world knowing that I am checking him out.
What I hate is when a man will break his neck trying to look at some half naked heffa. "You saw her coming a block away. If you couldn't get all of your looking done by the time she passes you, then you need to take a picture. Better yet, you need to follow her because I cannot be bothered."

Nope... no looking while you're with me. It's all about respect. And at least least if you're going to look, don't be stupid enough to get caught ...jeesh!
