Ok, so I read this article and am apalled by the actions of the UT IFC. My chapter has 32 fraters and is regonized, I simply cannot understand why IFC is choosing to not recognize a group that nationals has recognized and has 50 members in it.

Sure IFC didn't want expansion, but what were those vague "other factors" that they mentioned? I'll admit, my feelings towards the arrogant, snotty, rude GMU IFC (which we're trying to change by having ppl run for office) have affected my opinion here, but really? How can they keep burying their heads in the sand? How can they deny our presence on that campus?

I mean really, what would those texas fraters have to do to gain regonition? Slip a case of natty lite under the door of the IFC president? Promise that they won't take "all the good guys" or something stupid like that?

can anyone think of a legitimate reason why they could have been denied acceptance?

All members would have to be students still in school or otherwise the would be alumni allready.
