It's tougher to get a bid as a sophomore although some schools have an upper classmen quota which helps that a little. I don't see that UCF has one, however, so you'd be in direct competition with the freshman. I'm going to assume you went through rush at UCF and didn't complete the process or didn't rush and have since realized you may have missed the boat. The good news is Delta Zeta is colonizing there as we speak. I would whole heartedly try with them as that is definitely your best chance at this point. Just to put a round figure on it, they will probably take about 200 girls, and they will be from all 4 years of college.
And if that doesn't work out, there may be informal rush opportunities in the spring, and you can always try again as a sophomore. If you do any of these, keep in mind that very good grades are essential, and so is campus involvement, so whatever you do, get yourself involved and keep your nose clean.
