Will anyone write recommendations for me?
I hope this isn't a silly or stupid question...if it is feel free to ignore me
But I'm rushing in mid-September and so far I have no luck finding women to write recs for me! No one in my family has gone Greek and the sorority alums I've found have all been from GLOs not present at my school. I'm rushing at a Southern California university that has 7 different sororities...not super competitive but not the most laid back recruitment either, from what I have been told. I also happen to be a transfer, so I'd love to have recs to help me stand out in the best way possible.
My university has Alpha Phi, Phi Sigma, Delta Gamma, Tri-Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, AGD, and Kappa Alpha Theta.
Again, feel free to ignore if this is a dumb question but I'm not entirely familiar with what information is involved in recs and I hope that at least one person can help me out!

There are several ladies on GC who are Southern California based, so I'm sure they'll be able to direct you to the closest Alumnae Panhellenic nearest you.
Since you know some women who are sorority alums, would they be able to let you know if they have anyone in their network who are members of the sororities on your campus?
Based on the info you provided in your other posts, your recruitment begins in just a few weeks. Keep in mind that most women won't write recs unless meeting the PNM first, so if you really want to secure them, you better get going.
Soliciting rec help on GC isn't recommended at all.

In southern cal you should be able to spit and find some of these folks. Who all have you asked? School counselors, teachers, employers, women who are members of other groups, Sunday School teachers, your neighbors, your parents friends. Keep in mind they could have gone to school anywhere and be any age.

I think you mean your university has Phi Sigma Sigma, unless Phi Sigma is an interest group trying to become a colony of an NPC sorority or a local sorority.

Pardon the swerve, but doesn't the NPC website list Panhellenic Alumnae groups in different areas?
