Silly Question

Ok ya'll, asking this question is going to show just how computer illiterate I am, but anyhoo: sometimes when I read posts, I see how people can put parts of someone else's post in theirs...like if they're replying to it or something. Can someone tell me how to do it? I can't figure it out to save my life

And if you don't want to include the whole post from which you're quoting, you can just delete all but the part you want to keep.

How do you make the quote appear in bold letters or type in other colors?
