RW The Challenge: Rivals
This challenge pairs them with their biggest rivals. Those they have argued with and fought.

http://www.mtv.com/shows/rwrr_challe...als/cast.jhtml
I watched the first episode. As for the newbies, I watched this season of the RW (return to Las Vegas) but I didn't watch RW Cancun. Therefore, I don't recognize Jonna and Jasmine and don't care about their presence.
Adam and Leroy were rival-partners. Adam got kicked out the first episode because he punched Ty. Ty is a punk but Adam is way too easily angered and brought to violence. So, they brought in Mike to replace Adam. It was cute seeing Mike show up. The "problem" is that he and Leroy aren't rivals. They have always absolutely adored each other on the show. That's no fun. Womp womp.
Aneesa and Robin lost the challenge and got kicked off this episode. That was quick. Sidebar: Aneesa has a baby son.
Anyone going to watch?

I think I gave up on that show around Hawaii (after Seattle), but how I LOVED those first seasons. Had the biggest crush on Neil from London. I do remember watching the first few seasons (with people like Pedro/Judd/etc) and thinking they seemed so old... which makes me feel super old right now.

And yet another same.
It shows my age when one of my first thoughts was "Oh it would be cool to see Puck and Rachel."
Oh wait, they're both probably 40 by now. Hell I'm 31 and I can count on one hand the number of times I've watched MTV in the last 6 years.

Did you know Rachel is married to Sean (RW Boston), who is a Republican Congressman in BFE Wisconsin, and they've got something like 5 kids? She blogs on a parenting website and also cohosts some tv shows sometimes. She is gorgeous.

By the time my parents allowed me to watch MTV, this show wasn't really worth watching ...

Oh, so just 'cause you started this thread you think you get to control who posts in it and what they post?!
Well, thanks for setting the rules, Dr. Ph'lounce.

I'm the most peaceful GCer ever. The only time I try to put my foot down and this is how you respond?
I don't want any trouble. I will just lurk.

I miss the Miz...but he's too big time now to be on the shows. He was the first guy that just dominated the competition. I can't wait to see how long it takes CT to blow a gasket. He's usually the one who throws the first punch.

I actually planned to have my cable hooked up based on the premiere of this show but then I worked way later than I was supposed to and missed the guy.
Totally missed the first ep and will probably miss the next few.

I haven't watched TRW or one of the Challenge shows in a couple of years, but from the sound of it, some of the same people are still doing Challenges? Is this Adam and CT from TRW Paris? When you get into your 30s (and 40s!), you need to stop doing shows on MTV. The kids watching MTV weren't even born when some of these losers were on their first MTV shows! The Challenge viewers only know some of them from Challenges, not The Real World or Road Rules. They probably don't even know what Road Rules even was (an awesome show in its early seasons!).
