I knew it was bad when this morning they polled the jury and they agreed on 18 of the 22 counts.

Film at 11.

It depends on your perspective. He will appeal and probably get off on some kind of technicality. He's not the first and certainly not the last to do this type thing but he is the last one to get caught. Wasn't this just business as usual in Chicago?

^^^ This.

It is just perspective. My perspective it wasn't worth tax payers dollars to try him. He got caught, he got impeached, he got kicked out, let's move on. I can understand different though for those who feel he needs to go on trial and possibly serve time.

I don't think embarrassment is enough for him. Hell, he's not even embarrassed after everything that has happened. I could maybe think it's okay for him to get caught and he would fade out of "big society" in his disgrace after getting off for any technicality, but instead, he's out on reality shows and he doesn't even realize that he's a joke. He's completely oblivious to doing anything wrong. So, I'd personally love it if he was sent to a federal pen, and if it's not a "country club" pen, even better (though probably not).

He probably won't appeal, he doesn't have the money. There are few technicalities for him to appeal on at this point. He was given a lot more latitude to 'tell his story' this time around. It isn't country club pen, it's federal not state, and they just might have saved a cell next to the previous governor. The only people I feel bad for are his kids.

As a resident of Illinois, totally worth it.

Buh bye Blago.

Yeah he's not been the slightest bit embarrassed. My DSM class diagnosed him with narcissistic personality disorder and pondered whether he had a bipolar or manic disorder or if he met the qualifications for antisocial PD

/unofficially of course...
