Being a former "little sister"

Before any member of GLOs, BGLOs, NPC, or NPHC etc, go off, I just want to say I have search this in the search box and I have not found anything related to this topic.

Anywhooo, I have a basic question about joining a sorority. Im thinking about joining a sorority but it will most likely be in the fall of 2012 (I know, thats a long time from now). Here's my question, if you were invovled in a high school org. of a popular sorority (such as little sisters of a D-9), do you have to choose that particular sorority you were little sisters of or are you free to choose another group?

(1) No and (2) Yes

I think you may find some threads under something like "high school organizations...."

Also, your use of "little sister" in this context is for a high school organization, which is different than what some NPHCers mean when we use "little sister." Just letting you know so you don't walk around college students saying you were a "little sister to XYZ sorority."

Thank you, DrPhil.
Okay, I see what you mean about the "little sister" and high school orgs. thing. Thanks for clarifying it for me.

And I agree with you that the GC search engine doesn't readily bring up any threads about this. They must be really old threads in the search results. I really dislike the GC search engine unless I remember the actual name of a thread.
