Transferring to MTSU

Hi!
I am an incoming transfer student to MTSU and I will be turning 23 this summer, right before fall rush. The university I am transferring from has a greek life and I actually rushed my freshman year, but the sorority I rushed lost their charter that following spring (I did not initiate, though). The majority of my friends are in sororities and fraternities, but my major has lead me to MTSU, since they have a better program. My boyfriend is a Sigma Chi and he has given me (along with my friends) such a great view of the Greek system and I would love to find the sorority that is the right fit for me. However, I am really afraid that I will be overlooked due to being a little bit older. Is age a huge factor for MTSU's greeks? Also, I have a good two more years of college left, due to the transfer and because it took me a year to decide on a major! haha

It's worth a shot. You may get a bid, you may not. At least you won't have to wonder "what if I had never tried?"

Thank you! You're absolutely right! I have a few friends in a couple of the sororities there, so I figured I'd let them know about my interest!
