I wasn't sure where the appropriate forum to post this would be, so please bear with me.
I and a few other Greeks in Washington D.C. this summer are organizing the 4th Annual Happy Hour on the Hill on behalf of the Fraternity and Sorority Political Action Committee (FSPAC). This event will be on July 26th at Union Pub (201 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington DC 20002) from 5:30 pm thru 7:30 pm.
The FSPAC was formed in 2005 and has given contributions to candidates running for Congress who are Greek or support issues important to the Greek community. So far, the FSPAC has supported a bipartisan slate of 100 candidates, and more than 88% of these candidates have won their elections. Additionally, the FSPAC is the largest PAC devoted to higher education.
If you are anywhere in or near Washington DC in the next few days, we would be delighted to have you attend our networking event on July 26! A $25 minimum contribution is required to attend, and the event will include an open bar as well as unlimited appetizers. More information on the FSPAC and the link to pre-register can be found at:

I'm sad you won't be able to make it! It's every summer around late July and the FSPAC often has other receptions so stay tuned for other local events around DC via the FSPAC website.
