Question Doing Time?

I got Faith's new album "Faithfully" (I LOVE IT) and there is a song titled "Do Your Time". She states that she would stay with her man while he's in jail. If your significant other had to spend time in prison would you stay with him? Or if you had to go to jail would you expect your mate to stay with you?

NO!

I wouldn't stay, wait, or any of that foolishness. I would not expect him to wait for me.

it all depends on what they went to jail for... for example: someone I knew caused a bad car accident and unfortunately, someone was killed as a result and she went to jail for involuntary manslaughter...It all depends on how serious I am with that person.
However, if they went for something stupid i.e. selling drugs, ect. forget it.

I agree with Sweet Angel. It depends on the crime. But, I would have to make my default answer: No.

Nope, unless it was for a crime of principle (a boycott/protest or self-defense, for example).

I doubt it. Life goes on for those of us on the outside.
