I'm Back

After taking a trip to Mozambique (that was fun), I'm now in the border near Zimbabwe. And boy did I miss a lot of thing. From Auburn to finding out that I'm the chosen few who are still free from the smallest handcuffe in the world (marriage).

Well, just found out that there is going to be a clash. While we are busy concentrating on terrorism, Asia Pacific is moving closer to forming the most powerful economic bloc in the world. Which is going to effect this country econmic power by far. Already, South East Asia is becomming a Free Trade Area in about 4 months. And in ten years, china will merge into the Free Trade Area with s. Korea and Japan, possibly Australia joining in very soon. Negotiation has been going for a decade now. See ASEAN + 3. And with China being a member of WTO, this is very scary indeed seeing that they will also have local consumption that could offset any downturn in the world's economy.

Enough about economic, my sports news suck, just wondering if the Twins got dismantled yet. Which I think is the worst thing possible. they should've just dismantled the Marlins and the Diamondback. Twins has a long tradition and on their way up.

My Rangers are doing awesome, so my pessimism has become cautios optimism. Now if only they could get rid of MESSier.

As for the Knicks, they suck. The Yanks, I don't want Giambi, Johnson will do well and cost less. more money for middle reliever.

That is all. Check ya later. I'm off to Zimbabwe now.

Yeah, but the Lakers are kicking butt, as usual.
And how about those Hawkeyes, flattening Northwestern!?

What's wrong with marriage, anyway??

I'd love to hear more about your travels in Africa, too. My scared to fly self will probably never get there...

justamom, check out your pm.

Marriage, nothing wrong, but it's scary that one by one, guys I was with during my active years are slowly but surely getting married. Maybe the notion of morality is slowly reaching to me. Whatever.

As for Africa, saw a huge Elephants, up close and personal. Our guide told us if we make sudden move, we'll be a pancake. So, for about ten minutes, we were frozen making only predictable movement so not to spook the elephants. Fun, but scary. We were suppose to go to Zimbabwe, but was cut short cause of the turmoil and our insurance carrier refuse to cover us in case we get (a) kidnapped, (b) killed. Very morbid.

Just wait until all of your friends start having babies. My husband and I have only one remaining couple who are friends of ours that are married w/o a baby.

I just got a new job last week. When I called my in-laws to tell them I had some good news, my sister-in-law nearly brought the house down shouting, "She's pregnant! She's pregnant!" Try talking your way out of that mess sometime!

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling the "friends getting married" thing. A few people I went to high school with are getting married, and the scary part is, one of them an ex-girlfriend. Now that's some scary/weird/bizarre stuff...

Especially if you ever met the girl...she could make holy water boil
