Somebody destroyed all the HC decorations

Isn't that sad. knocked them down-tore them up absolutely ruined. They are working so hard and have almost completely rebuilt them. This is especially sad since tomorrow is Parents Day at their house as well. Too bad. Some people build, others destroy.

The reason people destry things is because of jealosy!
Manytimes the cute people are the most idiotic!

The SX house at Piit St. has a metal Gorilla, svchool mascot on thier lawn and people spray paint it!

While on the SX lawn, this and know one thinks about it, is degading our mascot of the University! DUMB HUH!

I am not to afraid, if when I was in school and found som Dumb SOB tearing something up I would be on his back Big time!!!

I know when one time I was down at my house, the composite of the Local i started was stolen, I e-m the house and their National! I worked to damn harde for some stupid moronic ass to destroy it! Destruction of private property is a fellony! It ranks the same as turning over grave stones!!! It does happen! What part of the species are these butt wipes?

Sorry JMOM, have to stay off the Auburn site as getting insane and turning into a race relationship war!

Becoming the thing that may rend all or some of apart

kimmykimmy HC is Homecoming.
Tom...I know what you're saying (and it isn't the FIRST time LOL)

They THINK they know who did it, but you know how THAT goes.
Plus, the girls are a little down because they were matched with slackers for all the events. Oh well, if this is the WORST that happens, they are all very lucky.

Got to make eggplant parmesan, a little garlic bread and a nice fresh salad! We MUST NOT forget the wine!

Justamom! Sorry about the HC decorations. Sounds like yet another case of the "havenots" taking out their frustration on the "haves"! I hope you have a wonderful time at Parents' Weekend. Your li'l DG sounds like a great girl; I bet you're very proud of her! Of course, the apple never falls far from the tree....

justamom-- I just have to say you're the coolest. My mom and I went thru a bit of a rough patch while I was in college and I barely spoke to her and she never came to visit me when I was at USC and Chi O. We both regret this now, as she's missed out on understanding some things (USC, Chi O) that are very important to me and integral to the adult I've become. The support you've shown here not only for your daughter and other rushees but for all of us GCers makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I only hope someday I can learn from the mistakes I made, the arguements my mom and I had, and become the kind of supportive and fun mom you are!

Just the DGs' decs? or all the houses?

I just drove down the row about 5 min ago and all are out "pomping"

Its kind of a shame in a way - Homecoming is only a big deal to the greeks. Non-greeks don't feel welcome at a lot of the events

But I'm going to the concert tonight! They Might Be Giants rule

Hey justamom. Sorry to hear about the decorations. I didn't even know that had happened. I would be SOOOO mad. I usually love homecoming but this year my heart just hasn't been in it. The only part of homecoming that I'm psyched up about is the game and halftime. My big sis is on the court this year. I'm actually not going to the concert tonight because I'm working on a huge sign for us to hold up at the game telling her we love her!!!! Talk to y'all later!!! I've got to get back to painting.

Justamom, you remind me so much of my mom with the way you care about all the goings on in your daughter's world. My mom would have been soooooo po'd if someone would have messed with Chi O stuff we had worked hard on. As it was, we got totally screwed out of a songfest win that we deserved without question the year I was the Chi O chairperson because of insider finagling, and boy was she mad!!!!! (Remind me to tell THAT story sometime!!!!!!!I'm still mad about it ten years later!!!)

Amy, I'm sorry to hear you had a rough time with your mom....but be so thankful you are over that now and still have each other. I have been having a hard time dealing lately and I am missing her so much. It's weird, sometimes I think I am through the worst, and I go for a while feeling pretty good. And then out of nowhere the reality hits me again and I don't know how to handle it.

I hope they catch the people who did it. Generally these things happen out of jealousy. Right or wrong, the only houses that had things done to them were the strongest ones at my school....for what it's worth.

I love to hear the stories. Sometimes I really believe I've never grown up like I was suppossed to. I still can't stand a girl that messed with me in 7th grade!!!

My baby girl can really get to me and I know I can make her want to scream. It's natural. I think it's God's way of easing the grip parents TRY to maintain on their kids. Make them act so horrid you SEND them away! J/J

Juniorgrrl, She didn't say, but the way she was talking I believe it was just their house. She used the term "pomping" I had no idea what that was about!

I saw the court pictures with their resume. They have some credentials don't they! Good luck to your Big Sis TigerGirl52!

Decorations-They have rebuilt it and it's pretty close to the way it was. Something like this only unites people and makes them really strong. Whoever did this, may see it come back to haunt them. hee-hee!

Goodnight ladies. Oh heck, I've had 2 glasses of wine, my kids are not here and I want to say our little diddy. Mom is line one kids are line two last line is together.

I love you, goodnight!
Sleep tight.
Don't let the bedbugs bite!
See you in the morning light.

SAY YOUR PRAYERS!

Grrrr...that burns me! That used to happen to rival service clubs (similar to fraternities and sororities) in HS...too bad people can't grow up.

Regardless, I hope everyone enjoys the Homecoming. I MISS Southern Football!

Mom,
"Pomping" is getting together with your homecoming team and making thousands of tissue paper pom-poms to decorate your HC float.

Sorry to hear about the destruction of their decorations - that's really awful and I"m sure someone will come foward and be able to identify the perps.
