Bring It Back
What movies would you like to see come back to the big screen?
I ask this because of the ET revival in March.
The only one I can think of is ROOTS. I know it never came to the theaters but the first time I saw it was on the big screen in 5th grade.

It's not so much that they are bringing back the original, but I saw an advertisement for a new version of the movie "Brian's Song". This time around it has Mekhi Phifer (sp) playing the Billy Dee Williams role of Gale Sanders. I don't know who the guy is playing Brian Piccalo (sp) I'm one for the orginal version of this particular movie, and that's it.

BCB wanted to go to this, too. I'm not sure, lol. I want to see a REAL production of the Wiz. I've already seen high schoolers do it at good ol' Deville. Lemme think on that one.

The movies I'd like to see on the big screen again are (in no particular order):
1. Claudine
2. Shaft (the original with Richard Roundtree) 
3. Sparkle
4. Imitation of Life
5. The Color Purple
6. The Shining
7. Lady Sings the Blues
8. Mahogany
9. Bram Stoker's Dracula
10. Get on the Bus
That's all I can think of for now. I'll come back to post more if I think of any.

I can't remember any sound from the movie. Isn't that weird? But I can see the dude and his curly blond hair (is it Willie Ames???) and I can see the chicks white dress. I have no idea what part that's from. But I haven't seen it in YEARS!!
