Happy Birthday.... don't have too much fun buying cigs (you shouldn't smoke anyway!) playing the lotto (if you win share with me) buying porn (not touching that one) and not legally having to tell your parents anything
the countdown for my 20th is on... 20 isn't even exciting. i won't be a teenager anymore. i'll be a full-flegged adult. people get married in their 20's.... graduate from college in their 20's... have kids in their 20's.... ahhhhhh

Have we all forgotten the biggest advantage and honor we receive when turning 18? Voting! I have kept the ballot stub from the first election I participated in! I can't convey how stoked I was to be an active participant in my country's future (Not that my Republican vote matters in California ). Any way, happy belated!

Congrats! Many more. Can I trade you a few years? I'll more than gladly sell (or even give) you a few of mine. Anyway, celebrate the day!!
All my best,

I had an awesome time. Thursday is a big bar night here too, and my ID may be shitty but it still says I am "21" and it still works... so I had many a drink bought for me last night! Now when I am actually 21, that will be another story...

The thing I was most excited about when I turned 18 (three years ago...jeez I'm getting old...) was no legal curfew. I don't know how the laws are where you live, but in Southern Illinois, those under age 18 had to be in before 12 on Friday and Saturday, and 11 on Sunday-Thursday. (NO exceptions-a friend of mine always got curfew tickets coming home from work when she had to close at Burger King-in her greasy stinkyness, they still did not believe her that she had not been out causing trouble. They always got dropped...our tax $$ at work...)
Granted, that was still my curfew from Mom and Dad, but at least I didn't get a $150 ticket on top of being grounded.
That was really my only reason for looking forward to Nov. 12, 1998-I don't smoke (and have NEVER purchased the garbage for anyone else, not even of-age people!) and don't gamble (Lottery is a tax on people who are bad at math). Hope you had fun!
