Hey

Hey I am going to be starting at texas tech in the fall and was wondering if 22 is too old to join a frat over there?

I don't think so but I never went to Texas Tech. However, at the chapter I pledge for we just crossed a line where the youngest person on it was 22 the oldest 27. I won't lie having a line with that age range is rare but as long as tyou pick the right frat it should be fine.

It sounds like you are talking about an NPHC or non-IFC group. We don't know which type of organization the OP is pursuing, so you might want to qualify your advice. The advice you are giving may not hold true for IFC groups at the school.

The bolded is the reason your advice may not be helpful at all. Aside from the issue mentioned by lucgreek of what kind of fraternity the OP is asking about, this kind of thing can vary greatly from campus to campus.
