LEather Jacket help . . .

Ok ladies I am in the market for a new leather jacket and I am stylishly handicapped. My old one was so old it euthanized itself.

This is what I am thinking: 3 quarter length black leather. So that comes down to mid thigh right? But I am open to other suggestions also . . .

Ok but here are my basic measurements:

I wear a 46-48 suit jacket (chest size) which usually requires a bit of taloring. The average drop between chest and waist is 6 inches . . 7 on a sportier cut. My waist size is 32 which gives me a 16 inch drop which means we cut it to pieces. Neck size is about 18 inches. Varies though.

Also, the jacket can't be too tight fitting on the shoulders and arms. It has to fit over 18 inch arms without being too snug so you have to watch the cut.

This post is really for those of you that are bored because it would really help me if you could find a link to the jacket you would recomend so I can see it. Tell me where I can get it, and hopefully where I can get it cheaper. I hate paying retail, plus I am poor.

Thank you in advance,

James

PS. That llink is vital for me to see it.

Bored and At Work

Hey James, Picking the right kind of Leather Jacket is Key, I used to work in a Mens Deparment Store, and it depends on what type of style , brand and price Oh and the Cut of the Jacket
The Eddie Bauer Leather Jackets are very nice, The one that suits a similar discription to the one you are talking about might be the Eddie Bauer" Leather Car Jacket" or "the Journey man leather" Eddie Bauer Leather Car Jacket The EB's are kinda expensive but if thats the style you are looking for,I think you can match them up with a Department Store etc. Oh Macy's have very nice Leather Jackets for Guys even Jcpenny's does actually too.
Theres probably a few others, that i can't think of. but when I do I'll let you know
Hope I helped

James.
not a lady, obviously, but I would have to suggest the one I have. It's 3 quarter length, and very nonbulky or too heavy. Unless you're really using it as like you're winter jacket, it's amply warm, but moreover the leather is practically as pliant as water on it, very soft, and if I had it with me I'd be able to say what type of leather it is, but I'd have to guess kangaroo or something since that's the softest (to my knowledge). I got mine at B.Rep, but I don't remember the price or anything, but I don't think it was bad at all for a leather jacket. Girls of course love it, so I hope I've helped you in some way.
Cory

here it is alone, and here it is on someone.

That Banana Republic jacket will cost you a mint James But if you want 3 quarter length, can't you just get the regular adult size (bulky dwarf? ) LOL! But seriously, go to Strawbridges...they have nice jackets, and you can take it to Wilson's to get it tailored if need be.
