Murray State recruitment

Today is pref day at Murray State. Things have gone well for my daughter with maximum invites up to this point. I'm hoping today goes as well. Are there any other moms or pmns out there with updates?

I have a soft spot for Murray State. My Grandfather was the President from 1945-1968 and my Grandmother became an Alumane Intiate of good old ATrianglePI. Hope Rush went well there.

YAY!!!! Murray State is one of our chapters that's always toting home tons of awards from convention, and one of the nicest national volunteers in the history of earth is from there. She's in good company and will have a great experience with ASA!

(Killing a ladybug is always bad luck, but now you'll REALLY be in trouble if you do it. Hee hee.)

If I remember correctly, Elizabeth Woods was instrumental with Alpha Delta Pi's colonization at Murray State.

TSteven-You may be right about my grandmother helping to colonize the ADPi chapter at MSU. My mother was President of her ADPi chapter at Univ. of Kentucky in the 40's. I wore my grandmother's pin after I was initiated, until my pin arrived. The date on the pin is 1968, I assume the year Epsilon Omicron was founded.

Yes the EO Chapter was founded in 1968. From the Epsilon Omicron website.

At Murray State University, the Epsilon Omicron chapter was installed in 1968 as the 135th Alpha Delta Pi chapter in the United States, and the 5th chapter on Murray State's campus. In 2008 the chapter celebrated it's 40th anniversary with alumnae. Today the chapter continues to prosper and looks forward to many more great years to come!
