Hi Everybody!
I'm a sophomore rushing at a small Southern University NEXT WEEK!!! I've been getting so excited reading everybody's recruitment stories, but most of them are from people who are attending schools with at least 7 or more sororities. And while I absolutely loved/love reading them, I wish there had been more threads about smaller schools so I could have more of a heads up on my own situation. Greek Chat has been vital since the only family I had involved in the greek system was my grandmother, who was a Kappa Delta, back in the 50's. But according to her she actually "didn't prefer" being in a sorority and it actually wasn't until I informed her of my interest in joining that she divulged.
My freshman year I wasn't really sure if I wanted to go greek or not. But two of my good friends who are both Sorority members made me realize I should give it a try, and more than likely I would love it. So after months of lurking on GreekChat and eagerly awaiting recruitment, this coming Sunday is the first day!
I hope yall enjoy reading my story, and for all those small school girls out there: I hope this helps you!
