Question Lent?

Is anyone else giving anything up for Lent? Coming from 13 years of Catholic school, I think the guilt lives on

I'm giving up all forms of caffiene. Chocolate, pop, whatever. I'm also cutting back fast (fried) food.

I'm giving up cursing - I have a habit of swearing a little too much, so I decided that this would be a good time to give it up and see how it goes.

I'm going to give up cursing too. I just filed 3 FAFSAs online and got kicked offline 11 times while attempting to file them and a few hours later, I'm very ashamed of what I said.

Since I hadn't chosen anything to give up, thanks to Honeykiss and KSigKid for the idea!

Well, we fast;no meat products. I have a hard time with the animal biproducts, but no meat until Easter. It is always my goal, but I have only done it once 100%. It is rough, but good.

Talking

I'll carry on the "fish on Friday" tradition, and will probably give up Coca-Cola. My boyfriend is Catholic also, so he'll help me stick to it!!

I go to a Catholic University, so I do feel a little guilty for saying this, but I do not think I am going to give anything up. I won't eat meat on Friday's, of course. I just do not know what to give up!

That's taking Lent to a whole new level, Nicole. That's a really great idea

I'm also trying to cut back on my swearing. It's weird, my husband is the sailor but yet I'm the one with a potty mouth! I won't do the meatless Fridays, but I will abstain on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday I think.
