Hi

I have to post this to get started, but if anyone wants to leave any advice about rushing (specifically at University of Colorado) then that would be great and super appreciated

Hey shaelurr!
I couldn't help but chime in with some help!
When I was going through recruitment the number one source of information that I used was CU's Greek Life page (http://www.colorado.edu/greeks/sororities/index.html). Just about every question you could ever think of can be answered on those pages - what houses are here, their addresses, their websites, what to wear (with pictures), and in depth information about costs, scholarship and recruitment.

My advice for outfits:
First Datebook - nice jeans, with comfy wedges, boots or dressy sandals (yes there is a ton of walking, but one can read a lot about a girl from her shoes) and a cute top. I'd recommend wearing your hair down and adding on a piece of jewelry that can be a good conversation starter. Be prepared for Boulder weather!

Second Datebook - I wore a sundress from Anthropologie (it was forest green with a ruffled neck), a brown leather belt, matching brown heels and a headband from Urban that had pretty leaves. It was also raining so I wore rainboots and changed when I got to the houses.

Third Datebook - I wore a black pencil skirt with a bright, flowery silk tank top tucked into it. With black heels, a black belt and some bangles.

Pref - Wear a nice dress (like something you'd wear to a informal wedding) and heels. I saw a lot of girls in Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters dresses that were similar to this: (http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban...ULTS&color=046)

Bid Day - Wear jeans and shoes that would match with anything! It's going to be really fun...

Get a lot of sleep and don't talk negatively about any sorority at any point where others could hear you! PM me if you have any questions.

I too have to post this because I'm new, however I like the clothing ideas above & finding comfortable cute shoes & never speaking poorly about a house because you never know who's listening.

I too am new to writing on the forums and completely agree with the clothing advice. I would also ask your Rho Gamma (that's what they are at my school, but I know the name varies) how people dress at your school becuase mine was much more casual until house tours and preference.

Good Luck!!!
