Hey all!
I have been browsing this forum for the past couple days and there is a lot of helpful information on it. I just had a couple questions that I couldn't seem to find answers to.
Just as a little background, I will be starting a new college, in a brand new state, as a transfer but with quite a few years to go. (The school actually requires you to be at least a second semester freshman to sign up for recruitment) Anyway, this college would definitely be considered a commuter college with the majority of students living off campus. Although the Greek community here seems to be on the small side I think it will definitely be one of the best ways to meet people being a commuter campus and all.
Recruitment isn't for a while but the month or so leading up to it there seems to be something recruitment based going on almost every week, such as informational gathering, a "pre-recruitment event", and your basic it's the first week of classes lets all get involved stuff. I am super excited for recruitment and was wondering if it was best to attend all of the events or if that would be over kill. I would personally like to attend at least most of the events if not just to ease the wait for actual recruitment. I was just curious what other people's thoughts were on the subject; whether or not each event would basically be the same, ie just your basic information, or if each event would actually add something.
Thank you ahead of time. I look forward to getting to know some of you whether or not I get accepted into a sorority.
