I can't wait to read this one- I know the OU greek system has gone through many changes since I was there- two sorority chapters have closed and several fraternities have come and gone.
The ADPi house at OU has a great location, and at least when I was there, the women were great. good luck to your sister!

Oh, I am looking forward to hearing this story!
The houses in Athens are so pretty on the outside, and in such great central campus locations! Hope she has a great time. (I love that campus)

Yay for recrutment threads at Ohio schools. I have alot of friends who are OU sorority alumnae and they seemed to have really enjoyed their experiences.
We also enjoy debating which of our schools has the better Halloween. I'm biased.

Ohio story! Yay!
I had a friend from high school that was an ADPi at OU and although we have lost touch since, I remember her LOVING greek life there.

Just talked to the little sis and she had a great first night.
Red -- she didn't really care for this one, thought they had too much of a party focus
Orange -- she had heard good things about this chapter before recruitment, but she didn't hit it off with the sister she was paired with
Yellow -- she really liked this one, though she thought it was a little disorganized
Green -- all she wrote in her notes for this one was "meh, nice house."
Blue -- her absolute favorite, she said she wrote LOVED in her notes
Purple -- her least favorite, she said it just wasn't right for her
Black -- another top choice, she said the girls were all very polished and she had good conversations
Brown -- she didn't care for this one at all, she said the chapter was very focused on partying.
White -- her second favorite, she said it was just a lot of fun.
She ranked them in this order:
1. Blue
1. White
1. Yellow
1. Black
1. Green
1. Orange
1. Red
2. Brown
3. Purple
She finds out where she got asked back tomorrow around noon but goes straight into the next set of events, so I likely won't have another update until tomorrow night.

My cousin was a DZ at OU I believe. Regardless, I have a few friends and a cousin that goes there so yay for OU stories! (I think a girl from high school is a Pi Phi maybe?)

Just talked to my sister again -- she wasn't released by any chapters, so she returned today to the following:
Red -- she continued to feel uncomfortable at this chapter due to their focus on partying.
Orange -- she felt this one was not a good fit, she didn't mesh well at all with her recruiter.
Yellow -- she continued to like this one but couldn't remember much specific about it.
Green -- she feels a little ambivalent about this one. A lot of PNMs really love it, but she isn't getting the best vibe from them.
Blue -- still her favorite. She went there first and loved every girl she talked to. She said every other event was a big letdown after this one.
Black -- she had a good experience here tonight. She said this one is a popular chapter among the PNMs.
White -- this one is her second favorite, she thinks the girls are very down-to-earth.
She ranked them thusly:
1. Blue
1. White
1. Black
1. Yellow
1. Green
2. Orange
3. Red
She finds out who invited her back for the next round Friday at 4pm.

Before Panhellenic changed the recruitment schedule, we did things the same way here. We had a full week in between Philanthropy and House Tours.
