I have writers block

I have a problem on my hands!
I have been selected to write out this semesters scholorship contest that we have on campus. The thing that is killing me is that I have ran out of good topics to have a writing contest on. What are some topics that you have written about or seen a good topic to write about? Please help me with your suggestions.

You might want to consider addressing an issue that is close to the heart of whatever is going on in your community. Is there a big problem in your community with drug abuse? Or maybe you can set up your contest so the topic that asks the participants to compare and contrast a situation...like the AIDS epidemic here and in Botswana.
