Greek Website Issue

Hey all,

Crazy situation here... I'm the PR Adviser for Kappa Delta at the University of Maryland and we're having quite the issue... they had a site made for them by ArchonGroups back in 2007. Not it seems ArchonGroups is completely MIA - they don't respond to emails, their number is disconnected, etc. BUT they did auto-renew KD's site in July.

We're trying to shut down that site as we have a new up and running now, but have NO contacts to them.

Bringing this up here, because I know they run LOTS of fraternity/sorority sites and was wondering if any of you have contact info for them? I've never had such issue tracking down a company in all my life, but this has gotten incredibly frustrating.

They better respond when you contact them. Otherwise, you can submit a complaint to ICANN to have the registration invalidated so that you can take it back.

When my advisee first started trying to get up with them back in January I thought she was just telling me they wouldn't call her back... when I started trying to track them down in April I realized "these guys really are MIA." I thought the registration would expire and all would be well... then it renews in early July but the company is still NOWHERE to be found/contacted. *The number listed doesn't work and no one responds to emails.

I didn't know about filing a complaint with ICANN, but I'll definitely do that ASAP. This is beyond ridiculous.
