Transformers 3
Yes, you read that right, there is going to be a third Transformers movie.
In more Shia big screen news, the actor said he starts work on the third installment of the “Transformers” series next week.
“This is the biggest movie we’ve ever tried to make,” he said of the third Michael Bay movie that is sure to be another blockbuster. “We wanna make the best action movie ever made… the goal is to make the best movie we can make.”

I'm actually quite excited about this. I know ALOT of people hated the 2nd one, but I didn't think it was that bad. I mean hello it's an action movie about robots. What kind of plot are you expecting? It ain't an Academy Award winning movie (other than in special effects). I see movies like that for pure entertainment value!
Plus, I tend to think that when it comes to trilogies, that the 3rd movies tend to be the best. The 2nd ones usually aren't the best because they are fluff filler pieces that have to keep the plot going, (ex. Matrix Reloaded, Attack of the Clones, Empire Strikes Back, even Two Towers).

Take back your blasphemy about the Two Towers.
Oh, and to the OT, I don't know. 2 didn't suck because of the plot, or lack there or, it sucked for quite a few other reasons. If 3 is more like one, then maybe.

Sorry Two Towers isn't my fave of the trilogy. I just love the part at the end at Helm's Deep when the elves show up.
Okay, not to sound like a total blonde, OT? Are you talking about transformers 2?

You're wrong, Two Towers is the best Lord of the Rings and Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars. Godfather II is the best Godfather.

I'm sorry, I hate to tell you but there was only one Matrix movie. It's a shame they never made sequels because they surely would have been good and not ruined any of the set up of the first one at all.
Also, Attack of the Clones? Yeah, like they made Star wars movies after Return of the Jedi. You had me going.

Hmm, I must have forgot that on GC people were allowed to have different opinions. I guess I was wrong.
Instead I post something about T3 and state my opinion about second movies in triliogies that I don't particularly like and suddenly is wham, everyone's coming down on me because I didn't happen to like those movies but the did.

Aren't they just having different opinions? And expressing it in a typical internet forum way of making it an argument?
You're allowed to say "I think these were bad." Then Joe gets to say "you're wrong, that was actually awesome." Joe could be more tactful but he's not wrong to say that either.

the third film in trilogies either sucks or rocks. I'm hoping T3 is better than T2, which was a letdown after T1, IMO. lol..

I thought Transformers 2 was absolutely terrible. I'm all for mindless action movies, but T2 missed the mark on so many counts. Ludicrous plot, terrible script, the most blatant racism since Jar Jar Binks and ridiculous plot holes (OK, so they're in an urban air museum that somehow backs up to a airstrip dozens of acres large?)...it was just too much. Not only that but for an action movie I thought it was incredibly boring. I know for a fact I wouldn't see T3 in theaters unless the reviews were Toy Story/Dark Knight/Inception good. I actually doubt I'd even see it on OnDemand or DVD.
