Ideal08 and I are sitting here talking about music and stuh.
Some of my picks off the top of my head that should have been released are:
A. Reasons by Faith
B. You Just Don't Understand by Faith
C. Don't Be Afraid by Faith
D. Don't Go by Mary J. Blige
E. The Never You Will Never KNow by Mint Condition
F. Oh Yes by Whitney Houston
JUST OFF THE TOP be back with more when I am alone. Ideal and I are yik yakking.

I DEFINITELY feel you on the Whitney Houston song "Oh Yes". A few other good ones that don't get released (at least not in my neck of the woods):
*Jill Scott-He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)
*Maxwell- Submerge:Til We Become the Sun (and MANY, MANY more of his songs-the songs on the radio are teasers)
*Carl Thomas-Special Lady, Lady Lay Your Body and Giving You All My Love
*Erykah Badu-YeYo
I'll come up with more later!!!!!!!

Actually, the Playa song was a single and a video, as was the D'Angelo song (actually, it might just have been a video, they made a live version and that was on BET, but clearly MTV was not playing a live performance of that song, since it wasn't performed on one of their programs).

I'm mad I missed those. I need to start watching more TV.
I have to agree about Submerge. That was the CUT! Lyzel in E Flat, too. Good one.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU
Our favorite songs are:
Forever Always - Monica
Hey Now - Carl Thomas
It's Over Now - Danny Boy (It was released but because he was on Death Row with Suge and them, folks hated. Nice song written by Babyface though)
Being With You - Soul IV Real & Monifah
It's Alright - Monifah (I wish I could find this on the fake Napster somewhere).
We got plenty more, be we can't name all the songs we wrote :-).

Set your eyes to Zion - P.O.D.
Still not a player (cover) - Incubus
Burning Red- Machinehead
Mayonaisse - Smashing Pumpkins
Think about you - GNR
Pillar of Davidson - Live
and most importantly...still can't get over this one...

That is my FAVORITE MONIFAH song. Her FIRST CD was BLAZING and did not release any of the songs that I liked, loved, and wanted more of.

Re: MUSIC!
Did Incubus cover that on an album, or was that a live performance? I love them! I will so be on Morpheus today..

So many, where do I start?
I kind of like it when my favorite songs go unreleased. Then I can play it in my car and have everyone wondering "what's that? that sounds pretty good!" It's kind of like a little secret between me and the artist.
But I digress, here are mine
Ready for Love - India Arie (this song just touched my heart)
Never Wanna Live Without You - Mary J. Blige
One of Those Love Songs - Xscape
What You Tryin To Do - Jagged Edge
This Is Your Day - 112
Slowly, Surely - Jill Scott
Show Me - Jill Scott
Softest Place on Earth - Xscape
The Runaround - Xscape
Someone to Hold - 112
Time to Say Goodbye - Montell Jordan
Do You? - Montell Jordan
Let's Cuddle Up - Montell Jordan
Do Like Lovers Do - Xscape
Work Me Slow - Xscape
Still Waiting - K-Ci & JoJo
Now and Forever - K-Ci & JoJo
Angel - Dru Hill
Holding You - Dru Hill
Beauty - Dru Hill
One Good Reason - Dru Hill
What Do I Do With the Love- Dru Hill
All I Want Is You - Kelly Price
Take Me to a Dream - Kelly Price
Missing You - 112
You and Me - Musiq

The Incubus cover wasn't on an album, nor was it live. I think they just made a remix of it. I honestly thought it was a fluke when i first saw it, but nope, its real, and kicks ass.
