An Underrated Actress, a Great Lady and A Class Act
She was perhaps the most underrated actress of her generation (despite winning an Academy Award). Somehow in this time when former substance abusing disc jockeys become political kingmakers, films like A FACE IN A CROWD some so timely.
Ms. Neal also was a symbol of hope for stroke victims and their families. For that reason alone, she will be remembered.
She was, as they say, a class act. When her husband Roald Dahl ended their marriage, she didn't publicly whine, she just persisted.
I doubt Hollywood will ever seen some one with her talent, strength and class again.
