My FAVORITE HOLIDAY!

Does anyone else have Halloween as their fav holiday? I dont know why its mine, I just love it! I love the fall!

My favorite Pittsburgh/Western PA saying:

You know youre from Pittsburgh when, you make your halloween costume so it will fit over a snow suit!

I like July 4 because I am patriotic , like the warm weather, fireworks, and the cookouts.

I absolutely LOVE the Christmas season. I hate that it's so over commercialized but.... I love the decorations, the scents that go along with the holidays, and just the spirit of the season in general. I love going home to my parents house and curling up with a good book on the couch, drinking hot chocolate, and relaxing to Christmas music (of course the tree is lit up too). Just getting a little nostalgic...

CHRISTMAS TIME!!!

It is so my favorite holiday!!! Although I do LOVE the fall, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The music, the decorations, the cold, etc. It's all so fantastic!!!

Ladybug...I know what you mean about it being so commercialized, especially since I work in retail. It can bum me out at times. However, I've come to appreciate being in retail b/c it allows me to be in the middle of the whole Christmas frenzy, so I'm even more in the mood. I think I love my job the most around Christmas time.

Christmas is the BEST.
I love seeing my family, the lights on the houses, the decoreated trees, egg nog, CC cookies, snow, wrapping presents, Christmas music (you have to hear the TEMPTATIONS' Silent Night at least 100 times), after Christmas sales, etc.

shopgirl---I have to agree with you about the retail thing. I have worked retail during my summers and holidays while in college and Christmas time is fun

People are generally in a better mood and the hustle of the store makes the time go by faster during my shift! Of course you always get a few bad apples but that can happen with anything. I guess I hate that some stores start decorating in October for Christmas. It's like "hello, we haven't even had Halloween yet!"
