Mysterious pins - need history/info

Hello Ladies!

I already posted these two pins on the Badge Trends thread (page 70), but thought I'd post them in our own section as well.

This pin, while obviously having our letters, looks nothing like any Alpha Phi jewelry I've ever seen, let alone alpha chapter jewelry. Does anyone know what this might be? On the back, I may have made out the letters "MJC" in the rectangle and "R.G." below it.

This pin seems to have a little more Alpha Phi legitimacy. This pin looks a lot like the image seen at this link: http://www.blueskybroadcast.com/Clie...cd/launch.html. It's a presentation and video some company made for the Executive Office or something (as far as I can tell). Use Internet Explorer; it doesn't work with Firefox.

You can either watch the video until about 3:23 or just click on "Alpha Chapter China Plate - Plate Detail" below the video player. Does anyone know ANYTHING about the pin? I can see how it can just signify "Alpha Phi" since the right "leg" of our alpha is wider than the left, or I can also maybe see how it can signify "Alpha Phi, Alpha chapter". In the pictures showing the pin from the back, you can see that it was cut out kind of crudely. Any information would be appreciated!

Edit: I thought I'd go ahead and include screen shots from that website to save y'all some time (but the video does provide more commentary).

Thanks again in advance for any light you can shed on these two pins! AOE.

The china shown is from a picture taken at the Executive Office, I recognize the lamp and the wall color.

Good eyes, Aphigal! The screen shots of the china are from the video presentation linked in my original post. The video is a virtual tour of the Executive Office. I posted those pictures to provide a basis for comparison to the "rough-cut" pin.

I wonder if the badge in the second set of photos you posted is a prototype of our current badge or perhaps one that a sister had made when Phis developed their own prior to the standardization.

Is that on eBay?

Nope, I already bought these (off eBay) months ago.
