ETA: I liked Avatar.

I saw both movies. The Hurt Locker is far better than District 9. I loved it and would see it again.

S/o and I borrowed D9 from a friend so we'll get around to seeing it sometime eventually.

Is Hurt Locker still in theaters? Or do I have to wait a month before it comes out on dvd?

I want to see The Hurt Locker, but considering the content I really need to be "in the mood" for that type of movie. If that makes sense.

My dad and brother saw D9 and they said it was horrible, I respect their opinions so I won't be wasting my money.

I really liked Hurt Locker, but District 9 was probably the worst movie I've ever seen.
