My Dad saw a UFO. Is it real ?

it was about 1992 and he was driving home from work at 4:00 in the morning. As he pulled on to our street he saw a weird looking object with blue lights above the people across the street's house.(it was far up though) He stopped and sat there and watched it for about 20 minutes wen it suddenly made a sharp left and flew off. He thought it was his eyes playing tricks on him and drove to our house and went in and to sleep. When he woke up he turned on the radio to z100 ( a station in new york, we were living in new jersey) and they were talking about it. he called up and told them what he saw. he just told me about this a couple months ago and i was surprised. LoL i actually know someone who saw a UFO thats pretty cool!
