Your GLO's biggest rival on your campus
Our biggest rival is Pi Kapp, not a hateful rival, but nonetheless still a rival. Their one accomplishment this last year was beating our IM basketball team 59-57, and they took out an Ad in the School Newspaper stating
Pi Kapp 59
ATO 57
We then took out our own full page add
Pi Kapp 59
4 Years in a Row All-Campus IM Champs 57

Our rivals were:
Sig Ep
Pike
But in actuality most of the greeks in IFC resented us. We hung out mostly with Kappa Sigma and sometimes with AXP.
They were all in good fun though.
A Fiji told me once that at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, their fraternity and mine are rivals.

When I was at college they were all our rivals as we were a local. In A good way as they all helped us to get recognized by the School as we were up against a small National.
Today though our main rivals run between SX and SPE depending on the situation. Sounds crazy, but our enemies were the Sig Eps, until the SX stole some near and dear things about the lacal from our house one night. They joined forces and went to the SX house in mass. Well the s--t hit the fan and local fuzz showed up.. It is funny as one of my Brothers son joined the Sig Ep house which is across the street and he is # 54 in our House.

Pike's lived at the top of the hill, while Sigma Chi's lived at the bottom (okay - I should say MOUNTAIN since that is where I was in school at) --- Lambchopper's lived in the middle of the hill, but a little to the right.
So every time Sigma Chi had a party (which was pretty often considering they had a GREAT party building) the Pikes would rush down the hill -- well they made so much freaking noise (of course) that the Sig's would rush up the hill --- and the lambchoppers of course couldn't let it be, so they rushed out to meet in the middle. It was pretty freaking hilarious to watch because all these *fine upstanding morally conscious* men who would inevitably be falling out of the brawl and rolling down the hill. After that everyone would get up, dust off, and back to the party - Man I miss those good 'ol days!!
Oh....I almost forgot....Phi Mu and Chi Omega are our biggest rivals. No details necessary

Up here we have two rival schools comprising one greek system. Although the sammies are the biggest here, and sigma pi is the biggest there, there really isn't a big rivalry between them. It's more so the betas against everyone else.

Pi Kappa Phi....we are the top two fraternities and no one on campus likes them cause they are way too cocky. Hey nole...i think some of the pi kapp brothers at FSU are literally gay. We drove by the house and about 20 of them were washing each other in front of the house, and later we hung out at some bars on Tennessee st. and I ran into a couple that were wearing lavalieers that you give to a girl.

Miami,
Makes sense I guess. The Fiji house and the Beta house are right across the street from each other. But there are many houses near each other at Miami. For instance, our house has one other fraternity houses behind us, two diagonally behind and in front, another to one side, and a last one in front of us across the street.

Kappa Delta was just chartered in November and there are 8 other NPC chapters at ECU so I think every chapter is our rival.
The chapters are more our mentors at the moment, they have been on campus since 1960 so, we have a lot to learn from them all! But I can't lie, I can't wait until we are Chi Omega's rival, in a good way!
But I'm just an old alumnae, active KDs may think otherwise!

Brian,
Thats cool. Yeah, Miami University is where we were founded. I never knew the houses are like that. I do remember him saying that Fiji and my fraternity were across the street from each other.
