How are the locals doing with new member numbers?
Tonight we officially started this semesters pledge class. We ended up with 4 which for us isn't too shabby. how is everyone else doing?

My class was a fantabulous 9 girls last year (which is HUGE for us! HUGE I tell you!). We're aiming for 13 (nowhere near quota, but about all we can handle without busting at the seams!). Rush doesn't start till after xmas break, the first week of Jan. is the first week of rush. So excited to be an active and maybe even get a little !

We originally had 2 pledges....but one quit due to family problems and the 2nd quit before we could blackball her. But, we're going to have a 6-7 girl pledge class next year so no skin off of our noses.

We have four awesome new pledges, which is on par with the other chapters on campus this semester. I'm so excited for our newest Sigs. And we're looking forward to a strong Spring rush as well.

Kayla, what exactly is blackballing a new member? PM me if you don't wanna post it on here.

We have 12 pledges, and they're a wonderful group.

Ahh, not a problem, since it's not secret on our campus, it shouldn't be on GC
Blackballing is bascially when the organization chooses not to have the Pledge continue through their pledge period. So in otherwords, they're kicked out

Make that 11. We had to depledge a girl that for some reason couldn't make it to pledge meetings. Or sister meetings. Or fundraisers. Or service projects.

We got one of our COBs this semester, and when we do rush this spring (we don't have fall rush, and freshmen can't rush til spring) we're hoping to get at least 4. Since this our first semester, and we have 7 now (our campus only have 500 and we have two nationals on campus) that's GREAT!!!

Congrats on your first semester!
DXi is still going strong despite things that have held us back. This semester we have a class of seven wonderful ladies. There are about five other "possibles" too and we may COB. Im excited about the spring semester too!

We decide next friday who we're giong to have be our newest pledge class, but right now, I'd say we're going to have three, and since fall pledging is much more low key than spring pledging here, and also the fact that my spring pledge class had 2, I think we're doing great.

We started out w/ 7, but one girl dropped. We never got a straight answer as why. We were later told by a pledge that she had just started dating a kid still in highschool. So where at 6 right now and they are all great girls. They have only two weeks left till initation and I'm so excited for all of them
