Inappropriate Letter Items?

I was looking through E-Bay for a present for a friend who is an Alpha Xi....and I saw a navel bar charm with AxiD on it! I don't know if I'd want to have my letters in my navel piercing.

belly button rings

I LOVE the belly botton rings with letters. They are SO cute. I personally don't have my navel pierced but some of my sisters do, and one of them has a Phi Mu belly button ring. I think it's a nice way to carry something that you love around with you all the time.

I saw a Phoenix navel ring once that made me want to go get mine pierced (OK, Shelia, I know what you're thinking but it really was an awesome looking ring with a ruby in the center)...but that was before my stomach looked like I swallowed a basketball whole... oh well...any day now (they're already estimating she's over 7 lbs!)

I don't know, but I've seen inappropriate "official" GLO items found on International websites. Personally, I don't really agree with something such as GLO tissues, no matter how cute they are. Wiping one's nose with one's letters doesn't sound all that appropriate to me.

The thongs with the GLO's letters spelled out in rhinestones seemed a tad inappropriate to me.

Special mention to the thong with not only APO letters, but the APO crest!

I may be old fashioned...I premising this...

was getting a shirt yesterday and stumbled upon panties you can have letters put on. seemed a little weird to me.

I don't think I'd want my letters on my crotch.

Co-sign. I can just imagine Stella's reaction if she saw the AOII thongs! For DECADES, the letters, AOII, were not allowed on ANYTHING related to jewelry or clothing.

I personally don't mind letters on shorts or belly rings -- as long as the person wearing them looks good. Maybe that's shallow of me, but it's true.

I personally am not a big fan of the belly button rings and I don't like butt shorts/pants but to each her own. I really, really, really CANNOT STAND lettered thongs and bras. Joe Toga even makes "sorority granny panties" (yup folks, that really is what they call them). And what sorority girl wouldn't want to have granny panties with her letters on them?
