1901 XO badge!
Hi Ladies,
Once again I've come across a Chi Omega badge from Tufts on ebay. This badge is 109 years old! The seller has no idea which organization it belongs to. I REALLY hope one of you can rescue this historic badge.
Item 270512311161
- GT Alpha Phi
Edit:I worry that the more cynical/suspicious/wary members of GreekChat may think that I'm somehow associated with the seller or auction. That is absolutely not the case! I honestly don't mean to put any badges I've mentioned (only the 2 Chi Omega ones) "at risk" for being won by a non-XO. I spend a couple of minutes each day on ebay looking for newly listed Alpha Phi items and "sorority pins" (since many sellers don't know/include the GLO or know it's called a badge, not a pin). I posted the info about the 2 XO badges because I have experienced the disappointment of being outbid on an Alpha Phi pin by a non-APhi collector and wanted to let as many XO's know about it so that they could rescue it.
Since there are plenty of threads and posts about badges and other GLO antiques on ebay, I'll continue to bring (hopefully positive) attention to interesting NPC badges.
Phew! I may just eased my own worries by writing this, but thanks anyway for your consideration.
