Post GREEK WEEK!!! help!!!

Ok, I was just appointed by PHA to organize Greek Week. It is coming up very very soon so I need to get alot done rather quickly. We need a theme! This is my first greek week and I am not exactly sure what the theme is suposed to be... I was thinking "No matter the letter, we're all greek together". who knows. Ok, there are 3 aspects to our greek week. Philanthropic, Social, and Educational. The educational portion is taken care of with a speaker. We also need to raise some money. There is a $180 outstanding debt from last year and we need to raise $400 for this year. I am from a campus that does not support greek life whatsoever and we make up a very small percentage of the population. This makes the task even more difficult! I am going nuts, could someone please help me out with some ideas?!?!?! Thanks

Cool

For the philanthropic part: We used to have a Sexy Legs contest. Ever heard of them? The basics were that each fraternity would pick the brother who they thought had the "sexiest" legs and enter him in the contest.

We would take a picture of each contestant's legs and tape them to a glass jar with their name and fraternity captioned below the picture. Then we'd set these jars up in different spots on campus and people would vote for their favorite.

Here's the way it worked. Every penny you tossed in equaled one vote. Every dollar you put in took AWAY 10 votes, quarters took away 5 votes, dimes subtracted 3 votes, and nickels took away 2. So, people would donate pennies to their favorite and other coins to the contestants who they didn't want to win.

It was amazing how quickly all those coins added up. The money went to charity, and the winner was given a trophy on the last day of Greek Week. I don't know if this would work for your campus, but it was always successful on mine. Good luck!!
