Pornography Fight Against Terrorism
Found this on the Web. Not sure if it's true or not.
Sounds like something we (the U.S.) would do though.

A Japenese newspaper reported today that a unique method is helping to win the war on terrorism and suppression in Afghanistan, by giving pornographic magazines and videotapes to the Northern Alliance, the sworn enemies of the Taliban,
as well as the Taliban themselves.
A high-ranking source speaking on anonymity stated that the pornographic materials, including such recognizable names as Hustler, Playboy, and Penthouse, are being carefully distributed throughout the Northern Alliance factions to "help boost morale, relieve sexual tension, and give them a taste of the Western culture that they could experience if they were [able] to defeat the governing Taliban."
On the other side of the spectrum, pornographic material is also
secretly being filtered to members of the Taliban ruling body as
well. When asked why this was being done, the source bluntly
stated, "they may be religious fanatics but they are also human beings too---MALE human beings, with sex drives even stronger
than can be found in most males, especially those of Western
descent." The source went on to say that the hope is that the Taliban become distracted or bothered by the images enough to the point of not being able to focus on their current tasks, which include preparing for a possible invasion by United States military forces. Also, the source stated, because the Taliban have such strong issues with women and how they should appear both in public and private, the images would most likely cause them to question their rulings and stances that they have laid down against women since they took over parts of the country several years ago. By doing so, they would be questioning a part of themselves that is so strong, it could cause them to self-destruct or possibly even forget about any plans involving the United States or its allies.
The Taliban boast some of the strictest laws on women in the entire world, rivaling that of some Middle Eastern cultures where women are subjugated by men or have no rights at all. Since capturing the capital, Kabul, in 1996, the Taliban have taken away virtually any rights that women ever had within the country, making them almost objects within the Taliban eyes. Women can only appear in public under strict guidelines, and are not allowed to read, write, or even teach their children how to do so.
The distribution of pornography as a psychological weapon is nothing new, stated the source, again still speaking under
condition of full anonymity. It was done in the Gulf War, where
nearly 100,000 copies of pornographic magazines were smuggled into Iraq and distributed among Saddam Hussein's troops.
Pornographic material, especially that from Western countries such as the United States, is not readily available within these areas, said the source. While pornography from Eastern Europe is filtered in, much of it is confiscated or destroyed upon discovery,
fearing contamination of Western influence and possible defection
or sabotage from within internal sources.
As of today's date there is no word on the amount of pornographic material that may have reached within Afgahnistan's borders; however, much of the material is also turning up in Pakistan and China, as well as other neighboring or close-by countries which border or are only short distances away from Afghanistan. "It works---trust me on this. The question we're still waiting for, is how well it's going to work in this particular situation. Each one is different, but we're counting on the Taliban to crack. None of the material we've carted in has yet to be returned or found discarded, let's put it that way."
