Well, the girls determined, with the help of Joey, that it happened a month ago (in Friends time) and Joey remebered a guy leaving a red sweatshirt at the place then from a one night type thing. Phoebe said she knew who's sweatshirt that was and told him to go to Central Perk where she brought Rachel. Well, it turns out that guy was Tag, however it wasn't is red sweatshirt - however, he wanted to get back with her, then he fled when Rachel said she was having a baby. Back at Monica's, Rachel and Phoebe return from an uneventful trip when Ross and Chandler return. Ross goes to put some flowers in a vase and sees the red sweater and says *he's been looking for that for a month!*
They never came right out and said that Ross was the father - but after the show ended, the NBC announcer guy said "tune in next week to see how Ross finds out he's he father of Rachels baby."

I'm glad it's Ross. He's the only guy I can imagine Rachel with. And seeing that this is the last season of Friends, I don't know, it just had to be him.

Some of my friends were saying things like "Oh I bet it was Bruce Willis!" but HELLO, the Bruce Willis thing was when Rachel had her hella long hair, and I remember she cut it in December, which means that by now she'd have had the baby already so I knew it couldn't be him.

Ahem. I promise, I don't spend all my waking hours watching TV! Just Buffy and Friends!!!

I watch Felicity as well, as I just cannot get past Tag now since I always see him as James, that abusive druggie boyfriend of Molly on Felicity!

I would've been really disappointed if it wasn't Ross - like someone else said, it's the last season, and I can't imagine either of them with anyone else - the least they can do is make it a nice happy ending with the two of them together like they should be.

Okay. I admit that I haven't been watching Friends alot. But when I first started reading the answers, I thought it was some kind of of Phoebe-thing ..sort of like...''who's name is on the sweatshirt....Fruit of the Loom/Tommy Hil., etc."

I didn't realize Tag was an actual person at first.

I don't watch it either. But, if I'm not mistaken, Ross is played by David Schwimmer.

Yes, that is right, Ross is played by David Schwimmer.

Eddie Cahill, the actor who plays Tag, also played a role on Felicity, where he was James, abusive drug dealer boyfriend of Molly (the British girl). So I just can't seem to get past him, after he played such a terrible character on Felicity

Ok guys I so totally missed Friends* I went and saw Serindipidy with a guy friend of mine good movie by the way!!* Anyways can someone please clue me in as to what happened. how did Ross find out and how did he take it! Thank you all so much!!!

Rachel told Ross that he was the father and he reacted not that well(he had never realized condoms weren't ALWAYS effective) and Rachel walked out but then he found her when she was having her ultrasound and they shared a really sweet moment. Personally, I thought it was a GREAT friends!! I LOVED the condom part(that was so my guy friends) and I really liked how Rachel is handling the whole thing!
Sorry, that was a REALLY basic synopsis, but you just HAVE to see it!
