Excuse my ignorance...
Excuse my ignorance, I'm currently pledging a fraternity. What exactly is a Rho Chi? A big brother? I'm confused. And I've always been told the only stupid question is the one not asked, so TIA for your answers.

A Rho Chi is someone that disaffiliates from their sorority in order to help women going through rush... so far as I know there are no male Rho Chi's for rush.. although it could just be where I am from.

Bro2B,
A Big Brother is someone that is assigned or volunteers to mentor a pledge. Basically he is normally an experienced upperclassman Brother who is there for your questions, to support you and is your best connection and a liaison to the initiated brotherhood. Also, he is someone to trust and rely on when it comes time for Ritual and will often help lead you through the Initiation process. Usually you will either pick a Big Bro or have one named for you, depending on how your chapter does it, within a few weeks of pledging.
If you haven't gotten a Big Brother yet, you may want to ask your Pledge Educator about whether or not your fraternity has a program. I hope this helps, and good luck with your pledging!

Yeah I have a big brother and all but I saw someone sign something with the Greek letters Rho Chi with the Chi crossed over the bottom part of the Rho.
So I was just curious. Yes, I do have a big brother, a guy I already knew really well outside of the fraternity before he even pledged (kinda funny how he's my big brother but I'm older than him).

I see a bunch of AXPs wear that here, so i guess it is one of their symbols.

Yeah that is it. I had to look at it sideways before i got it. What it looks like on their flag is the perscription (sp?) expect straightend out, if that makes sence.
