Legacy introduction form for AGD

Hi ladies, My daughter is a AGD legacy via my Mom, a member of the AO chapter at WVa Wesleyan. Mom passed away this summer, and my daughter will be a college freshman the fall 2010. My question is, how do we handle the legacy introduction now that Mom is gone? Can my daughter send it herself? How can we gets recs? We have no contact with her sisters.
Thanks so much for any advice.
