Post Value of time...

If a friend was almost always late, would you resent it or simply allow for it? Can you be counted on to be on time?

I would ask why was he/she always late and if there was something we could do about it. I always try to be on time. If I'm running late I call to let someone know. I HATE tardiness.

Ok now I have a close friend who is does this...is always late and never seems to understand why I get so annoyed. I have tried to explain how it seems that my time is not valued but it never really seemed to get through. After a while I just told her just to meet me wherever it was we were going so that I could be on time and she could take her sweet time....lol

I resent it!

Most of my friends run on CP time, and I resent it and have told them so. Please don't take me and my time for granted. I love them, but rarely do we go out together, that's how I deal with it. We talk on the phone.

I have a friend who is always late...We get in the biggest arguments over this. I have been late before but I don't try to make a habit of it.

Coming from a person who is perpetually late...I can't help it. I have some people who get mad...but that's life...what would my life be w/o my grand entrances...LOL...If you don't want me to be late, then plan on me being late and tell me to come earlier...LOL...

Late...

I, like Pretty, am chronically late. Sometimes, I am embarssingly late to events--especially when I'd planned on being on time (which trust me, is a frustrating to me as it is to those who are looking for my arrival). Oddly enough, I am also frustrated on those rare times I'm on time (or Heaven forbid, even early) and others are late.

It's an illness, and I need professional help!

Seriously, though, most of my friends know to give me a different time than they give to everyone else, or they anticipate that I will be 30 minutes -2 hours late to a social event. When I am among the first to arrive, everyone is shocked! And best, yet, they also await to hear the "tragic" story I will tell about why I'm late (bad traffic, lost my keys, someone called about a job just as I was leaving the house; my dog ran away...the list is endless) --but it always true though!!!
