Why
I wonder why some of the old school established chapters have nothing on the internet. As far as I know Alabama, South Carolina, Ole Miss don't have websites.

I can speak on behalf of the SEC brothers, Ole miss is huge, Alabama is huge, auburn is huge, Tennessee is huge, we rush based on reputation. Southern kids don't look at websites to decide where they go. We would rather have huge rush parties with girls.

This is probably true for the most part. Websites are often thought of as strictly a recruitment tool, and "top tier" chapters don't "need" a website. However, having a website is useful internally, as a place for members to check a calendar of events, pay dues, have a centralized place to share pictures (hopefully ones that won't get the chapter in trouble), and provide a way for alumni to become involved with the chapter.

Well you know down here in Oxford....j/k...Sigma Nu Ole Miss use to have a website...it has been offline for about a year now...but I agree, most of the fraternities at Ole Miss don't have an active website. All of the sororities have websites at Ole Miss, a couple are offline for summer updates.
