The Fashion Show

Anyone catch this premiere on Bravo tonight?

I've only watched half thus far, but I'm really liking it. Kinda of Project Runway-esque, but it's still working for me.

Totally made me realize how much I miss PR though.

I watched a little of it. Isaac could never be Tim Gunn and Kelly could never be Heidi. It does look interesting though

PR is going to be on Lifetime now. Been seeing commercials about it.

I ended up watching the show, not knowing what it was. It was interesting.

I would really like to know what makes Kelly judge-worthy? Wearing designer outfits?

I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I was afraid it would be a cheap Project Runway ripoff, but there are enough differences that do make it it's own show. And I like how the fashion show has an audience of people besides just the judges; that's pretty cool.

I do miss Tim, Heidi, and Michael Kors though.

Did project runway have the clause that elimination decisions are discussed with the producers and sometimes Bravo themselves?

I know a couple shows that have done that in the past got a lot of heat for it... (esp Last Comic Standing, hence they have stopped doing it). With that said, that could be the only reason to explain last nights elimination in my eyes, because that girl's outfit was horrible.

I thought any Hannah Montana teeny bopper would wear the blonde's outfit, but NO ONE would wear the whooooooooorish top with the spankx disguised as a skirt.

I thought most of the outfits were a huge disappointment. I think there were four or five nice ones in the bunch of fifteen.

I've tried really hard to like this show, but the more I watch it the more I miss PR. I just am not seeing the same talent level as PR and I find the people more annoying and over the top!

Maggie, ITA! I watched the first two episodes and that was enough for me. The designers' work is sloppy and the production value seems really poor.
