Guess I am the first to say Happy Founders Day to all of my brothers here on GC. God Bless to each and every one of you.....

Happy Founder's Day!
Brothers,
I think Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity is unique in many ways. One of our most unique features is that we have, and continue to recognize, two Founders Days! Can anyone think of another Fraternity or Sorority with two Founder's Days? I can't....
I have been asked to write an article about this unique situation for the November issue of the electronic Cross & Crescent. I would be interested in reading your thoughts and ideas about why we have two Founders Days. Anything to share?
Happy Founders Day to my Lambda Chi Brothers!

From "The History of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity", P.13:
"The apocryphal meeting with Clyde K. Nichols and Percival C. Morse on November 2, 1909, was selected by Cole and Albert Cross as the first formal step in Lambda Chi Alpha. In later years Cole said the date could be moved either way by a year or two. Given this ambiguity combined with the major decisions made at the 'second' General Assembly on March 22, 1913, Founders Day is celebrated as March 22."
This info came from the archives of Bruch McIntosh, according to the history book...what a cool resource--

Brother Bill answered this one: November 2, 1909. However, I suspect that there is more going on with this situation then meets the eye!

It's Founders Day!
Brothers,
Once again we celebrate Founders Day in recognition of the ritualistic work of Jack Mason. The modern day Ritual of Lambda Chi Alpha was chiefly, almost exclusively, the product of his genius.
As we celebrate our Centennial let us remember the small group of young men who created our Fraternity.
