Loved one lost in 9/11/01 attack :(

I really don't know what to say...i can't really describe how I feel, but my aunt identified my the body of my uncle last night...

So..this hits a lot closet to home now...and I don't think I can put this behind me that soon, something suggested in another thread.

BTW...was greekchat.com down for a while, or was I that out of it?

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle. I know that there is probably nothing in the world that will make you feel better right now, but please know that there are millions of people who share your grief and mourn with you.

Hey sweetie! Just letting you know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I went through family members dying in a public disaster 2 years ago and while that was horrible, I can't even imagine how this could be. Please do whatever you need to do to get through this terrible time and accept all the love, support, hugs, and kisses your family, friends, sisters, and brothers give you. My sorority sisters held my hand through so much of my hard times and I can never thank them enough for it. And know that all of us are here for you too! Godspeed

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your uncle. I had one cousin on the 20th floor of the South Tower, and another two cousins within two blocks of the WTC. Thankfully, they are all safe, but those were some of the most frantic and heartwrenching moments of my life. I don't know what I would have done if I had lost any of them. My heart aches for you and your family. You are in my fondest thoughts and most fervent prayers.

You are not alone in your grief. The world mourns with you.

I have gotten E-M from and confirmed 5 of My Brothers who are safe along with their Familys!

I have e-m 2 who I know were in the area and have not heard from them and it is very scary!

May we all survive this strife and may th perpatrators all die in HELL!

My prayers and thoughts are with you. These are all trying times for everyone, we all are going through our time of mourning, theres really nothing that can be said to make one feel better. But like someone mentioned before there are thousands of us mourning, so you are truly not alone.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I will definitely keep your family in my prayers. What happened last week was so tragic and it's so sad to hear people's stories about losing someone they loved. Stay strong and know that we (and the rest of the world) are thinking about you and your family.

Damasa, I'm so sorry sweetie to hear this

. May you stay strong in all of this, and seek comfort in the form of your friends, family, clergy, etc. I know how angry/frustrated/mad/sad, etc. that you arefeeling right now. I also feel the same way. My friends lost a parent each and I am so in disbelief right now. Shocked. True, they weren't my parents, but they were always so sweet to me, always so loving that they treated me like their niece or something. And to think that I won't see them again. And my friends - words can't even dutifully express how they are feeling right now. Theyu used to be some of the happiest girls on earth, but ever since Tuesday they've gone thru school with a blur. Like ghosts. Everything's forever changed.

I just wanted to say again how sorry I am, and how I'm praying for you and everyone else. May those f*cking idiots who masterminded all this rot in hell, burn in hell, be strangled in hell, etc. Please be reassured that justice will make sure those idiots pay some way. May God be with you and your family thru all of this. Please always remember that angels sent from God will always be by your side - 24/7 - even though you cannot see them.

Damasa and everyone - Please be careful - Sep. 22 is supposedly another day planned for terrorist attacks. please be aware of your surroundings and where you are at all times. And never ever stop telling your loved ones that you love them. Life's way too fragile.

I am so sorry for your loss. it seems as if almost everyone in this country knows someone who was lost in the tragic events of Sept 11. Please know that my hearts and prayers go out to you and everyone who has suffered from this horrible tragedy.
