Question for Blackberry Users

I've been searching online for this and haven't found an answer. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but figured I'd ask anyway:

After a long fiasco with AT&T, I finally got a Blackberry Curve. Before that they tried to stick me with the Motorola Q. The Q had a feature I miss and wish I had on the Blackberry -- texts to the same person were all under one listing...kinda like in an IM form.

The current way it is now has each text separate, but when you open a message it also has all of the texts previously sent within the message..which are also in the inbox.

Is there any way to consolidate this short of deleting all of the prior messages? Hope this makes sense.
