Rounding GPA

I know everyone has a GPA requirement for joining, but I was wondering, if the new member is borderline, do you round up or down?

For example, our GPA requirment for the new guys is 2.5 would you allow a 2.45, a 2.495, or stick straight to a 2.5 without any kind of rounding at all?

If you are truly a fraternity of presidents and kings, why are you splitting hairs over a 2.49 or 2.5???? If someone can't get it together in the classroom before they are greek, they will have a hard time doing much while they are in your organization - I always stay away from the borderline folks and stick with 3.0 and above, but that's just me! Too many 2.5s will bring your house's overall gpa down, why bother???

Ummmm.....I will try and give an actual useful answer. 2.495, yes; 2.45, no. What does your national HQ say?
