Usually I don't get excited about my birthday, lol, but this year it just seemed to be a lot more fun.
Cake and ice cream at work.
New bathroom almost complete (woulda been finished earlier but there were plumbing connection problems.
Hubby and I had a great dinner at a new restuarant although their dessert menu didn't look promising.
So we decided to go to Alon's
http://alons.geomerx.com/ (but decided not to cause we were still full and I was afraid my fruit tart would dry out, lol.) after we decided to go to the mall first.
Sweet hubby says "I know that you have presents at home but if you want to go to the Brighton store, we can". Duh!!!
So I got very pretty earrings.
(On a side note, I've been having lots of problems misplacing items (so far I can't find 2 sets of keys
). Twice in a week, I'd misplaced my work badge. Normally you're supposed to sign in and get another one but I didn't want them to know that I keep misplacing it, lol.So I'd barely leave my area because you need a badge to get back in to my area.
Anyway, at the Brighton counter, there was a display of cute badge holder necklaces so I told hubby that would make a great Christmas gfit.
Hubby also got me a fancy chocolate bar, and a Ipod/Iphone docking station with radio. I don't have an iphone (yet...maybe never, lol.) and a copy of the new Gregory Mcquire book, A Lion Among Men (story of Cowardly Lion). When I open my present from his sister, it was another copy, lol, so hubby will take his back to Target.
And to top it off..a Georgia win over "That Team" would be wonderful!
